About mission wilderness
Ever since the fall of mankind into corruption man has sought his own way back into that perfect garden. The harder we try, however, through our technologies and “advancements” the more we corrupt the world that man seeks to restore.
The problem is that corrupted man does not have the antidote for a corrupted world. The Bible teaches that Christians are the first-fruits of all creatures (James 1:18). In other words; our rebirth (first-fruits) is a precursor to the general harvest of all creation. The new life Christ gives us He intends to extend to the creation that fell with us. The gospel is first to the nations but ultimately to all creatures (Mark 16:15).
Consider with me the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
If we are the active agents of Christ’s body in the world then we must busy ourselves in the general harvest. Part of our Christian walk as restored mankind is to take up the original Adamic occupation of creation care.
The solution to the environmental problem rests with Christ’s body. We cannot claim to be children of the creator and show apathy to His creation. His blood purchased all things! So let’s get busy!
Show the world Christian Creation Care by joining the Christian Conservation Coalition.
When you donate to CCC you are joining other Christian organizations, Churches, and individuals in efforts to restore environment, protect life, and promote understanding from a Christian perspective.
As stewards of your contribution, we at CCC navigate the muddy waters of Environmental Activism and dispense monetary contributions to projects worthy of Christian support.
We look forward to working with you...
"If my people, on whom my name is named, make themselves low and come to me in prayer, searching for me and turning from their evil ways; then I will give ear from heaven, overlooking their sin, and will give life again to their land." II Chronicles 7:14
